Quayside Antiques - Antique Dealers based in Shrewsbury

My name is Chris Winter and I would like to introduce you to Quayside Antiques. I have been restoring antique furniture since 1965 and retailing for the last fifteen years.

We are now a family run business of antique dealers. My wife, Jean runs our antique shop in Shrewsbury and our daughter, Catherine is our French Polisher.

We have large showrooms displaying mainly Victorian and Edwardian mahogany furniture. We normally stock up to fifteen large mahogany dining tables, seating from six to sixteen people. To compliment these quality antique furniture, we display numerous sets of mahogany dining chairs in a variety of styles.

Being one of the largest antique dealers in Shropshire, we also stock a vast selection of sideboards, chiffoniers, bookcases, china cabinets, desks, wardrobes and much more in our antique shop.

All the items we sell are in showroom condition, restored in our own workshops by skilled cabinet makers and delivery can be arranged to Shropshire and anywhere in the UK.

We exhibit at the 'Antiques For Everyone' Fairs, held three times a year at the NEC in Birmingham. We occupy one of the largest stands, where we have earned our reputation as one of the leading antique dealers in quality mahogany dining tables and chairs.
